EASYDIVE PRESENTS THE NEW HOUSING LEOR

With a live Facebook Easydive has presented recently e new and revolutionary housing, thought specifically with those who do video sub: the LEOR. Compatible first and foremost with the video camera Black Magic’s  Pocket Cinema, but also with the mirrorless and DSLR main  brands.

The general features briefly are:

“Lightness and travel friendly” – the new LEOR is made from a solid block of aluminium anticorodal, weighs around 500 grams less than its sister LEO3, but still keeping same volume.

”Strength” – despite being lighter, the housing is still depth rated to -150m, with lifetime warranty.

”Technology” – besides all the technology provided throughout the years to the LEO housings, (USB/IR/Wi-Fi), LEOR has also Bluetooth control and an OLED display integrated in the housing which allows a quick access to the housing menus and replication of the parameters of the paired cameras.

The display has a “Illumination Sensor” which regulates automatically the luminosity of the OLED display and of the indexing LEDs and disables the retro illumination of the push-button handle in situations of strong luminosity.

”Operating Time” – The new LEOR can be equipped with two battery packs LI-ION 14.8V 3000mAh. The new internal power circuit has been designed to provide power supply, to either the photo-camera, and also to all the installed accessories. One single battery for trigger, vacuum system, lightened push-buttons board and HDMI-SDI convertor. If your photo-camera does not have a USB recharging options, it is possible nevertheless to power it up with the use of a fake compatible battery.

”Video Direction” – thanks to the HD-MI-SDI3G convertor (Optional) it is possible to have a double exit SDI video, one for the external monitor (optional) and the other to use to send a video signal to the surface.

”Custom control” – the commands of the mechanical housings would require a more complex combination of push buttons or access to the camera menu through touch screen, they can be executed through pressing a single push-button on the buttons keyboard. In our software for the BlackMagic, we provided a unique push-button to change either the resolution and the FPS.

”Wet Contact Magnetic Push-Buttons” – The handle grip of the LeoR allows to have all commands to hand, 2 frontal triggers and 9 at the rear. The switch button more over allows to increase the available commands.

”Ergonomic grip-handle” – The grip-handle allows to have a quick access to the main functions without loosing the hold of the housing.

”Set-ups” – LeoR has very many set-ups, on the lower part it has 8 holes m5(4 for the standing removeable feet) hole N1 ¼” and hole N1 3/8” positioned centrally for a possible tripod , are also present N2 holes M8, to enable to fix the clamp for the second grip-handle . At the back, at the height of the display, there are other 6 holes M4 in which is possible to fix a lens hood or other accessories. Furthermore on the top part there are 5 caps M14x1 where it is possible to implement 2 connectors or video exit SDI, vacuum system, and other possible solutions.

”Connection” – The new App LeoR, allows to connect to the housing and control at best and with simplicity all the available features:

1. Insert the coupling Pin for the BlackMagic directly from the phone display

2. personalise the quadrant’s  push-buttons function.

3. Update the housing software and add new photo-cameras.

4. adjust the housing’s parameters(switch-on timing of the retro-illumination, trigger on-off, convertor on-off, auxiliary power of the housing, etc.

To purchase it it is easy, with the configurator which allows to personalise the housing online.
