FROM THE 50's TO TODAY

The story of Giuliano Nardi, owner of "Le Signe":

"My father, son of peasants, had the intuition and the initiative to start the shoe factory, after having gained years of experience in the sector.

The factory was born in the house, in the 50s.

Like the artisan businesses of the past, the whole family revolves around it and itself becomes an integral part of the family, together with the employees who work there.

Working was a way of being together, where the joke, the joke accompanied the commitment of the production. And there was a lot of production! But time passed quickly….

I, as a child, used to help put eyelets, tidy up, box and finish during the summer holidays.

And in this environment I trained, learned the trade and strengthened myself to defend vulcanization in our times and lead the business when my elders left the reins.

Today, having revolutionized the product compared to the initial shoes, resumed the original spirit of the factory, dusted off the old machinery of the 1950s, I bring vulcanized sneakers to the market: a new, innovative product, but with a heart firmly in tradition. "
