General characteristics:

⦁ Travel Friendly. The LeoR, made from a block full of Anticorodal Aluminium, is super light: in water it only weighs 150 gr, about 500 gr less compared to Leo3. The dimensions do not change.

⦁ Robust. Despite being lighter, its functionality is still guaranteed down to -150 m, with Easydive lifetime guaranteed.

⦁ Technological. For over 25 years we design and manufacture electronic controls for underwater housings. LeoR is a concentration of this experience. In addition to technologies already included in Leo housings — USB, I.R, Wi-Fi — there’s also Bluetooth control. Easily access housing menus and the replicas of your camera’s parameters with the OLED display integrated in the housing. The illumination sensor automatically adjusts OLED display luminosity and LED indicators, and disables the backlight of the keyboard when there’s too much light.

⦁ Charge. If you need more power, you can equip the LeoR with two packs of Li-Ion 14.8 V 3000 mAh batteries. The internal power supply card supplies the camera and the accessories. You use a single battery to supply all the accessories: Trigger, Vacuum System, backlit keyboard and HDMI-SDI converter. If your camera doesn’t have the option of USB charging, you can supply it with a compatible false battery.

⦁ Illuminated. We know how important it is to have light when you need it. That’s why we provided an Optional to illuminate the keypad: at nighttime or in low visibility conditions, you’ll only need to press a button. When you do maintenance, you can also disassemble everything without worrying about doing damage: the lighting system is watertight, wireless power. With the LeoR app you also set the duration of the backlight.

⦁ Record. The HDMI-SDI3G converter has 2 SDI video outputs: one for the external monitor, the other for sending a video signal to the surface.

⦁ Controlled. With electronic control instead of a mechanical one you manage the settings quickly and easily. You only need to press a button on the electronic keypad to execute commands which require complex activation of mechanical buttons, or to access the camera menu via touch screen. In our software for Blackmagic we have provided, for example, a single button to change both video resolution and FPS.

⦁ Ergonomic. Thanks to the ergonomic handle, your hand never leaves the housing and you access all the main functions thanks to wet-contact magnetic buttons which are well placed on the handle: two trigger ones on the front and nine on the rear. Besides, with the switch button you can increase the available controls.

⦁ Predisposed. LeoR is predisposed for everything. On the front it has:

• 8 m5 holes (4 for removable supporting feet)
• 1 1/4’’ hole
• 1 3/8” central hole for any trestle
• 2 M8 holes to be able to fix a rod for a second handle.

Next to the display there are 6 m4 holes in which it is possible to fix a hood or other accessories. In the upper part there are 5 M14x1 caps where it is possible to implement 2 connectors SDI video output, Vacuum System and other possible solutions.

⦁ Connected. With the LeoR app you manage easily all the available functions:

1. insert the pairing PIN for Blackmagic on the phone

2. customize the function of keypad buttons

3. update the housing software and add new cameras

4. adjust housing parameters such as the backlight on time, on-off trigger, on-off converter, auxiliary camera power supply, etc.
